Around noon, she removed her gauzy, black sundress and stood side by side on the second floor of a hotel balcony with about 10 other nude models. Miami gave me a loving welcome from the moment I got off the redeye from Seattle Tuesday morning. Then I had the pleasant surprise of being picked up by Jesus Gonzalez , who is among my closest friends from college. Unfortunately luck was still on my side, so there was no traffic, and I was only able to chat with Jesus for a short time on the way to the hotel. The hotel is awesome.
Bernard Church St. Bernard Courtyard St. Hundreds of new plans area being made for more high-priced condo complexes throughout the bay area and along the Miami Beach waterfront. Thankfully, there are still a few nice residential facilities still available in the North Miami Beach area.
Art imitates social life here next month with a fashion photography exhibit installed around a swanky hotel pool. It's one of the many ways that Miami transforms into a contemporary art hub in early December. About 20 art fairs and other independent exhibits and performances lure serious collectors to mingle for a week with the locals in the city's parks, trendy hotels, giant air-conditioned tents and private galleries. Paintings hang from the walls, sculptures and videos enliven tropical gardens, performers entertain bus riders, and shipping containers will be reborn as gallery and concert spaces. The centerpiece of the annual visual overload is Art Basel Miami Beach, the four-day international contemporary art fair at the Miami Beach Convention Center showcasing work by more than 2, artists.
